Natrona County law enforcement have identified a Casper man who was arrested on an Aggravated Assault charge, after Casper Police were summoned to a fight.
24-year-old Brandon Debyah was arrested over the weekend and is facing a recommended charge of Aggravated Assault.
Officials with the Casper Police say that at around noon on June 27, 2020, officers responded to a Casper residence for a reported fight. Upon arrival officers say they observed a person displaying signs of having been in a physical altercation.
“No individuals immediately sought medical treatment as a result of the incident,” Casper Police officials said. “Officers ultimately learned that [two individuals] were in a relationship and were involved in a dispute that lead to a physical altercation, upon which the male left the residence.”
In further investigating the incident and later speaking with the male involved, Casper Police Officers arrested Debyah without incident.
Further details and a booking photo for Debyah were not immediately available.
Debyah is anticipated to make an initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court to hear formal charges against him.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
