Wyoming Rescue Mission wants to make sure that everyone has a great Christmas this year. They are seeking volunteers to contribute towards their Adopt-A-Guest program.
Adopt-A-Guest allows you to volunteer to buy Christmas presents for someone in the Wyoming Rescue Mission discipleship program. The discipleship program is a year long program that helps men and women who are struggling with addiction or other problems.
Jackie Pickenpaugh, a program director at Wyoming Rescue Mission, said that this is a special program because it gives people the opportunity to make someone’s Christmas.
“When they’re here for Christmas, we just want to make a difference in their lives,” said Pickenpaugh. “We just want them to know how special it is that they are making this kind of choice for their life.”
