The Rock Springs Police Department said on Tuesday, June 30 that they responded to “several auto burglaries” late Monday night and into the early morning Tuesday.
“These burglaries occurred in the area of Pinnacle Drive and Scott Drive,” Rock Springs PD said. “In all the cases the motor vehicles were left unlocked.”
The police department asked people to check their home security camera footage and to report any suspicious activity. Reports can be made to Sweetwater Combined Communications at 307-362-6575 or the Rock Springs PD Facebook page.
“You may remain anonymous,” Rock Springs PD added. “To prevent yourself from being the victim of auto burglary, remember Lock it or Lose it. Lock your doors and take your valuables with you.”
