Casper, WY – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred right before midnight late Thursday night.
It happened in the 200 block of E. G St.
Casper Fire-EMS Firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire.
Initial reports stated there was a dresser engulfed in flames in the basement.
First arriving units quickly made entry into the residence and located an extinguished fire with minimal impact to the surrounding area.
Firefighters responded to the scene with 5 units and the on-duty battalion chief.
Crews were assisted by Banner Health Wyoming Medical Center, Casper Police Officers, and Telecommunicators with the Public Safety Communications Center. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Smoke damage to the residence was minimal, and the occupants were able to return home without delay.
