Casper, WY – According to the city officials, this initiative encompasses a range of enhancements aimed at enhancing the overall infrastructure and connectivity of the area.

Key components of the project include street realignment to optimize pedestrian access, the application of a mill and overlay asphalt surface for smoother roads, and essential upgrades to water mains and fire hydrants.

Additionally, the undertaking involves the replacement of sanitary sewer mains and manholes, installation of storm sewer catch basins, and implementation of drainage and stormwater management improvements.

In line with accessibility standards, the project also entails the construction of ADA-compliant ramps at intersections along the corridor.

Various repairs to sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and curbwalk will be undertaken to ensure safety and functionality.

Moreover, the addition of wayfinding signage aims to enhance navigation and ease of movement within the area.

K Street’s transformation represents one of six ongoing construction projects initiated by the City of Casper, reflecting a commitment to enhancing infrastructure and livability across the municipality.

Through these endeavors, the city endeavors to create safer, more accessible, and aesthetically pleasing urban environments for its residents and visitors alike.
