The town of Hudson is trying to set the example that you don’t have to be big to make a big impact

Hudson, WY – According to the statement, they have been serving free bread and other essentials from their town hall, and offered free clothing.

The main goal is to provide clothing and small household items for people in need, and volunteers have organized it so shoppers don’t need to search through boxes, but rather can have a superior shopping experience, easily accessing whatever they need.

This mission started back in 2016 through the inspiration of the Hudson Town Clerk. As soon as she was hired on with the Hudson Town Hall, she presented the idea of a free clothes closet to the Mayor and the town council. It’s been going ever since through the generosity and volunteerism of others.

When they had to close for Covid-19, they provided services for people to shop on a call and reserve basis.

The closet has aided over 1,000 people each year. The closet is located inside Hudson Town Hall and is open Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed noon to 1.
