On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 9th, there was an alleged drive by shooting at a house in Mills. Police have arrested suspect Justin Tanner.

Earlier that day, Tanner allegedly confronted the homeowner and their boyfriend about whether they had stolen from Tanner. The homeowner and their boyfriend denied taking anything from Tanner.

According to an affidavit, the homeowner was in the shower when they heard gunshots and came outside to more gunshots directed at them. The homeowner fled behind their home to safety.

No one was harmed, and witnesses were able to identify the shooter’s vehicle and a possible residence. Police found the car at Tanner’s house, and after receiving a warrant, law enforcement allegedly found weapons that could have fired the ammunition found at the house.
