Casper, WY – According to the statement, the Casper-Natrona County Health Department is now back on track receiving about 1,170 doses of vaccine, per week, which is up from the 900 doses on average a month ago.

Health officials are able to administer about 330 vaccines per day, but expected that increase to about 460 per day as more partners became equipped to administer doses.

Natrona County should be able to move into the first priority group of Phase 1C of vaccinations by the end of March. Those priority groups are:

  1. People at increased risk of acquiring or transmitting COVID-19;
  2. Residents of congregate care or living settings including prisons and jails
  3. Essential critical infrastructure workers who are unable to physically distance
  4. People living in dormitories.
