Casper, WY – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred Saturday evening in the North Platte River.
First responders arrived at the 400 block of Westshore Drive around 6:30 p.m. for a reported drowning.
They entered the water to rescue the unidentified person.
The person was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
This incident is under investigation.
