Casper, WY – According to the statement, there have been 45,155 total confirmed cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began. 18 new probable cases were reported as well, bringing the total to 7,824.
The good news is that no additional COVID related deaths were reported. Wyoming has now seen 647 total COVID related deaths among the state’s residents since the pandemic began. Natrona County has seen 125 COVID related deaths.
Statewide, 43,959 people have recovered from a confirmed case of COVID-19 and 7,566 with a probable case have recovered. In Natrona, 5,576 confirmed case recoveries and 1,813 probable cases recoveries have been reported.
The department marks people as recovered once their isolation order date has expired. People who test positive are asked to remain in isolation until 10 days since their first symptoms or 10 days after their test was taken, or longer if they are still showing symptoms.
