Casper, WY – The 123 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed during their Tuesday, Jan. 19 update. According to the statement, that brought the total to 42,638 confirmed COVID cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began.
The experts say that our state has been adding an average of 253.6 new confirmed cases per day over the last seven days.
Unfortunately, 28 additional COVID-19 related deaths were confirmed on Tuesday. Wyoming has now seen 550 total COVID related deaths since the pandemic began.
The state hospitals had 88 COVID patients, but the hospitalizations dropped below 90 for the first time since October.
513 new recoveries from lab confirmed cases were reported Tuesday, bringing the total to 40,732. Probable case recoveries rose by 162 to a total of 6,851.
