The Wyoming Department of Health reported 40 new cases of COVID-19 in Natrona County

Casper, WY – According to the statement, the WDH also reported 192 new cases of COVID-19 in the state. That brought the total to 44,304 confirmed COVID cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began.

Unfortunately, they have reported 596 deaths related to COVID in Wyoming since the pandemic began. Most recent data shows that COVID hospitalizations dropped to 54 on Friday, down from 64 on Thursday according to the WDH. Hospitalizations peaked on Nov. 30, when 247 COVID-19 patients were in hospitals across the state.

40 new confirmed cases were reported in Natrona County, bringing the total case count 5,679. Probable cases rose by three by three to 1,834.

Statewide, 42,691 people have recovered from a confirmed case and 7,312 have recovered from a probable case, a combined 23 recoveries reported since Saturday.

5,430 total recoveries from a lab confirmed case and 1,749 probable case recoveries have been reported in Natrona County.
