Wyoming Medical Center is asking for the community’s help to keep its medical staff safe while they continue to care for those in need.

WMC is in need of goggles, face shields, gloves, masks and protective gowns. A donation box has been setup in the west tower lobby for any person and/or business that can help.

WMC can’t say enough about the support it has received in the last few weeks.

“We have just been overwhelmed and incredibly touched and humbled by all the people and businesses reaching out right now,” said WMC Spokeswoman Kristy Bleizeffer.

Bleizeffer said the clothing items that come in are immediately washed before and after use to keep staff safe. WMC Is in the process of collecting and preserving these items to be prepared for the days and weeks ahead.
