Local resident was sentenced to 70 years in prison for murdering his mother-in-law in front of his wife

Casper, WY – According to the court documents, his name is Anthony Rodriguez and he was convicted of second-degree murder during a jury trial in April.

He will serve 70 years to life in prison for killing the 54-year-old Mary Fogle.

The defendant and his wife moved into the victim’s residence in September 2019.

At first, the victim and the defendant got along, but their relationship began deteriorating and they had heated arguments.

According to the court documents, on the day of the murder, they got into a heated argument over a dirty mattress.

The defendant took a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim several times.
