Thunder Basin’s Karissa Tranas will continue her golf career at Montana State-Billings. In 2020, she placed 9th at the 4A state tournament in Casper with rounds of 86 and 86. The Bolts ended up winning the 4A team championship. Back in 2019, Tranas was the 4th place finisher at the 4A state tournament, carding rounds of 84 and 86. The Bolts were the 4A champions in 2019 as well. She was named all-state in both of those seasons.
She also competed at the state tournament in 2018 as she took 11th shooting 90 and 91. Montana State-Billings as a Division II school that competes in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
